Saturday, Sept.26,2009, in Brentwood,N.H., a party of about 100 celebrated the 50th birthdays of Scott and his wife Randi. Many musicians, friends of the couple, entertained and the guests couldn't get enough. The Bluesbirds kicked things off followed by the Mockers, The Robbers, The Then Again Band and various musicians from the area. There was music from 4pm til 11pm and a catered menu and various delicious food brought by guests of Scott and Randi. It was a good time as friends came out to celebrate with the birthday duo and catch up on all the news. Musicians getting together, some for the first time and sharing their music with each other, made this party a success. The key element that made this a good time was the fact that there were no egos. Country, blues, classic rock, rock and roll oldies and everything in between were played. There was something for everyone.
A special thanks from The Then Again Band to Scott and Randi for a memorable time.

Mike Pattison
Although we lost Mike Pattison to cancer in May of 2008, he will always be a member of the band in spirit. Not only was Mike a great drummer, but he was a great friend and is missed by everyone.

The Beginning
When living in Rowley Ma., Carlo Orlando would go down to Maria's Lounge on Sunday afternoon and catch the musicians from various towns jamming. One Sunday,Carlo decided to bring his guitar and sit in and sing. It was then he met Ray Atwell from Seabrook, N.H. Ray had been a strictly country bass player, but wanted to do something different and found that playing with Carlo meant he would be playing a variety of music. Soon Ray and Carlo would become great friends. One sunny day,Carlo and Ray walked into Captain K's restaurant in Seabrook, N.H., and asked owners Peter and Diane Korakas if they could bring in their guitars and amps and jam a little. Another friend, Mike Patterson, was called and brought his drums. Soon they found a sound they liked and decided to go out and find gigs. After two years of playing as a trio, they met Ernie Merrill, a guitar player and singer and asked him to jam with them. Now there were four friends playing music and it stayed that way. Throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts people were loving the Then Again Band. The Then Again Band plays rock and roll oldies, country, pop, and a little blues. What sets the Then Again Band apart from other bands, is that they never play a song the same as the original, as they like to use their own arrangements.
